Claudia Curran

“My career looked like proof that I was confident and successful. It wasn't.”

I'm a performance coach and the founder of The Inner Impact. Before that, I spent nearly two decades in finance — and most of that time, I was two people.

One of them was a picture of success: Director at a Global Investment Bank, then Managing Director of a Global Hedge Fund. Results, bonuses, promotions, the career that looks from the outside like proof of confidence.

The other was living with chronic anxiety and panic attacks — and telling nobody. I kept delivering, which is exactly what high performers do, and exactly why nobody notices.

What finally changed wasn't willpower, a new job, or taking time out. It was learning how my mind worked. Through self-coaching and practical frameworks, I learned to step back and observe my thoughts instead of automatically believing them. For the first time, I had a way to interrupt the patterns that had been running me for years. That discovery became the foundation of everything I teach today.

Your mess becomes your message.

This is why clients trust me with the version of themselves that doesn't go in the LinkedIn profile. I know what it feels like to look capable while something unravels underneath — and I know it doesn't have to stay that way.
