November 2026

Leadership Accelerator

A four-session cohort programme for high performers who now lead others.

Lead Yourself First. Then create performance through others, without everything depending on you.

Begins Tuesday 24 November 2026 · Four weekly sessions of 90 minutesSlots are limited.

Why this programme exists

You were promoted for your performance. Now you are responsible for everyone else's.

  • You used to finish a week knowing exactly what you had achieved. Now you have been busy for five days and you could not say what you accomplished.
  • It is quicker to do it yourself than explain it, chase it, and end up redoing it anyway.
  • You are still expected to hit your own number. You are also expected to be available to everyone else.
  • Someone on your team is not performing, and your first instinct is to step in and fix it.
  • You are working harder than you were before the promotion and feeling less successful for it.

If two or more of the above statements resonate with you, then you are in the right place. None of it means you were the wrong person to promote. It means the thing that made you excellent is now the thing getting in your way.

“Maintain the performance that got you there. Build the leadership capability that takes you further.”

Programme outline

Leadership Accelerator

Upgrade and expand your success formula for the next level.

The 3-step process

Over four sessions, you'll build on what already makes you a star performer, and learn how to create that same level of performance beyond yourself.

  1. Know How You Win

Reverse-engineer the formula behind your success, including what's helping you now and what's starting to hold you back.

  2. Build Your Playbook

Turn that insight into a repeatable way of operating so you can stay focused, handle pressure and keep performing as your responsibility grows.

  3. Build a Team That Wins

Apply what you know about high performance to create clear expectations, ownership and accountability, so performance happens beyond you, not because of you doing everything.

Module One

Lead Yourself

Sessions 1-3 · the foundation

Being a high performer doesn't mean it feels easy on the inside. You can be delivering exceptional results while your mind is constantly racing: overthinking, reacting, firefighting and moving from one thing to the next.

As the stakes get higher, that way of operating becomes harder to sustain. Lead Yourself teaches you how to keep performing at a high level without everything feeling so full-on: how to slow down the noise in your head, stop getting pulled into every problem, handle pressure without it taking over, and feel more in control of how you spend your time, energy and attention.

  1. Session 1

    The Leadership Shift

Why the behaviours that made you a star performer can make leadership harder. Identify your personal Star Performer Loop.

  2. Session 2

    Lead Yourself: A.L.I.G.N.™

My proprietary framework for shifting from automatic reaction to intentional leadership.

  3. Session 3

Lead Yourself in Practice, and create your Leadership One Pager

Real situations: difficult conversations, uncertainty, mistakes, needing to know, wanting control, people pleasing, reassurance seeking. Create your Leadership One Pager: a practical playbook for the mindset, behaviours and standards you want to lead by.

The approach

Stop treating leadership as an additional job layered on top of your real job. Learn to lead yourself first, then use that internal foundation to create performance through others.

Module TwoAdd-on

Lead Beyond Yourself

Session 4 · for people managing people

Once your own performance no longer takes quite so much out of you, you have more to give to the people you lead, without taking your eye off your own game.

Lead Beyond Yourself builds on that foundation and becomes much more tactical: applying those same principles to other people through creating clarity, transferring ownership, coaching rather than carrying, and building systems that allow the team to perform without depending on you.

Module Two builds directly on Module One and is not taken on its own. Together they make the four-session programme.

  1. Session 4

Set the Standard, Transfer Ownership and Lead Without Being the Bottleneck

Learn how to create the conditions for people to perform without carrying their performance for them. Set clear outcomes, expectations and accountability, then shift from rescuing and over-owning to coaching, delegation and genuine autonomy. Then turn that into ways of working that create clarity, ownership and accountability without you needing to be constantly present: the rhythms, feedback and decision-making structures that allow both you and your team to perform at a higher level.

The result

You become as confident leading others as you are performing yourself. You know how to create performance through others without over-managing, over-functioning or becoming the person everything depends on, while continuing to thrive in your own performance.

Four Tuesdays: 24 November, 1 December, 8 December and 15 December 2026. Each session is 90 minutes, live.

Who it speaks to

One programme. Two reasons to be reading this.

For the individual

You are the one in the role.

The thought in your head

“I’ve always been great at my job. But since I’ve become responsible for other people, I’m spending so much time managing, fixing, answering and firefighting that my own performance is starting to suffer.”

What this programme says

You shouldn’t have to choose between being a great leader and being a star performer.

Over four sessions, learn how to manage your own internal world, create clarity for others, transfer ownership and build the systems that allow your team to perform, without sacrificing your own performance in the process.

Usually taken as

Modules One and Two, four sessions, £1,750. Or Module One only, Lead Yourself, three sessions, £1,250, for those who want to strengthen their own performance and self-leadership, whether or not they currently manage others.

For the CEO or the company

You are the one sending them.

The problem is different

“We’ve promoted some brilliant people. Now we need them to become brilliant leaders without losing the commercial performance that made them valuable in the first place.”

What this programme says

Your best performers shouldn’t have to become less effective in order to become better leaders.

The Leadership Accelerator gives high performers the internal and practical leadership tools to create performance through others while continuing to deliver at a high level themselves. Send one leader. Send three. Send five.

Usually taken as

The Leadership Accelerator for individual leaders or teams, with cohort pricing available for organisations enrolling multiple participants.

The Leadership Accelerator

One programme. Two ways to take it.

Start with Module One only: three sessions focused on mastering self-leadership. Or add Module Two, a fourth session to make the shift from leading yourself to creating performance through others.

3 sessions · Module One

£1,250

Lead Yourself

For high performers who are already good at what they do, but want it to take less out of them: less overthinking, reacting and firefighting, and more control over how they think, respond and perform when the pressure is on.

The result: you keep performing at your best, without it costing you quite so much to do it.

Module One

4 sessions · Modules One & Two

£1,750

Lead Yourself + Lead Beyond Yourself

Everything in Module One, plus a fourth session focused on getting the best from the people you lead: setting clear expectations, handing over real ownership and putting ways of working in place so you're not constantly stepping in, chasing or carrying the team.

The result: you become as strong at leading others as you already are at performing yourself.

Modules One & Two

Module One is the essential foundation: master how you operate first. Everything else in leadership builds from there.

This is for you if

  • You are a high performer newly responsible for other people
  • You are a senior individual contributor being lined up to lead
  • You are leading already, and doing it by working harder rather than differently
  • You still carry your own number as well as the team's

This is not for you if

  • You want communication tactics and a delegation template
  • You want to be told what to do rather than shown how to think
  • You are looking for career or job-search advice
  • You cannot protect the time across the four sessions

Who teaches it

Claudia Curran

Executive Performance Coach · Founder, The Inner Impact

I'm an executive performance coach and the founder of The Inner Impact. Before that, I spent nearly two decades in finance, and for much of that time, I was two people.

One of them was a picture of success: Director at a Global Investment Bank, then Managing Director of a Global Hedge Fund. Results, bonuses, promotions, the kind of career that looks from the outside like proof you've got it all figured out.

The other was living with chronic anxiety and panic attacks, and telling nobody. I kept delivering, which is exactly what high performers do, and exactly why nobody notices what it can be costing them underneath.

What finally changed wasn't willpower, a new job or taking time out. It was learning how my mind worked, and how to stop letting every thought, pressure or problem dictate how I responded.

Since then, I've coached hundreds of people, from C-suite executives and founders to new leaders and high-potential talent, and I've seen the same pattern again and again: being exceptional at what you do doesn't automatically make the next level easier. In fact, the more responsibility you take on, the more important it becomes to master how you operate under pressure and how you create performance through other people.

That is what the Leadership Accelerator is built to teach.

What changes · from Claudia's one-to-one coaching clients

Stuck → Clarity

“I had never been a leader before, and suddenly I was managing people and trying to meet goals I didn't even know how to set. I learnt to question my own thinking and separate fact from fiction and the story I tell myself. Many of Claudia's lessons I still carry every day.”

Ming Bridges · Director, Formi

Tentative → Intentional

“I had reached a point where the demands of my role were changing. I was navigating a broader range of leadership and stakeholder challenges, and I realised that technical competence and experience alone were no longer enough. One important realisation was that confidence does not mean always having the answer. Claudia helped me recognise and work through the imposter syndrome that often caused me to second-guess myself. I trust my judgement more, ask better questions, and remain composed even when the way forward is not immediately clear.”

FAQs

This sounds right, but I do not manage anyone yet. Can I still do it?
Yes, and the three-session Lead Yourself module is built for exactly that. It is the part that changes how you think, decide and hold pressure, and it is the foundation whether or not anyone reports to you. Plenty of people take it before the promotion rather than after.
How is this different from working with you one-on-one?
The group programme teaches you the concepts and the framework. One-on-one is where they get applied to your particular situation, week by week. Most people find this is the way in rather than a substitute.
I am already leading a team. Should I skip to the final session?
No. Module Two is built directly on the first three sessions and will not do much on its own. If you are already leading, take all four.
What if I miss a session?
Get in touch before you apply and Claudia will talk you through how the cohort handles it. The work is cumulative, so the fewer you miss the better.
Is this training or coaching?
Coaching, taught to a group. You are not being lectured at and you are not doing a course in the background. Every session is live and you are expected to be in it.
How do I pay?
Individuals book and pay directly through the links above. Organisations booking more than one place start with a call, and are invoiced.
